Spring Tree West Side Santa Cruz Neighborhood
Spring Tree is a real estate home development off of High street in the upper west side of Santa Cruz. It is interesting in that it has a stream coursing through it, that transverses Santa Cruz and winds up at the ocean. I believe KJ Mc Granahan did this housing development and much of the building was done by the old Bogard Construction.Read more about Spring Tree homes in the upper west side of Santa Cruz by scrolling below the real estate listings.

Spring Tree homes neighborhood
Most of the Spring Tree homes were originally ranch style single level homes. Most were 3 bedrooms and tended to range from about 1400 square feet to 2000 square feet. They had larger lots and the climate is nice. The Spring Tree neighborhood is a nice quiet one, and has seen many of the homes get remodeled and have second story’s added. Some of Santa Cruz’ elite lived up here. Because of the elevation, it could be foggy at the beach, but sunny up there. When I was a kid there was a hidden neighborhood swimming hole we used to swim as well as a quarry we could play in and ride our bikes around. Since then the one has become overgrown and the other turned into a developments. This is a lovely area of upper west side Santa Cruz. The area abuts the Pogonip green belt area and is a nice access if you like to run. The streets in Spring Tree have names like Ortalon, Meadow, Sheldon, Ross, Laurent, and Spring. Homes here vary in price due to age and condition, but range from the $800,000’s to the mid-millions.
