Southwest Carmel-The Golden Rectangle

The Southwest Carmel homes for sale area is also sometimes referred to as the 'Golden Rectangle" due to the MLS area 143 generally being rectangular in shape.This area is mostly all flat to gently sloping. It has some of the most expensive houses in the area on Scenic Drive, Carmel.

This area is quite walkable and is favored for such as well. It generally has them most traffic due to this "favored area" and the fact that Carmel Beach is bordering this area with Scenic Drive. Generally speaking you'll be starting around $2.5M for a decent home in this area, with view properties or those with close assess to the beach in the $4.5-7.5M range as of 2017.
