Corralitos is a quaint little town. That it is a town, is sort of a misnomer as there is no real town really, but the Corralitos Market at the intersection of Corralitos Road, Hames and Browns Valley roads is the de facto center. The market is renowned for it's smoked meats, salmon and sausage. Whenever I am in the area I always pick some up. The entry though from Freedom Boulevard takes you past the Five Mile House, which is another gathering spot and has a variety of small shows.The community encompases vast terrain and has some productive farmland. It's past has a variety of row crops, grain, potatoes, roses and more. With the Pleasant Valley area being home to several vineyards as well as the Browns valley and Hazel Dell areas, there is still rich agricultural diversity.The vineyards have started a new phase of the agricultural variety the area offers. There are horse prople out here, gentleman farmers, commercial growers of row crops, flowers and a wide variety of other things. With terrain from the mountain tops to the valleys, Corralitos land is some of the most usable and diverse and productive. There are incredible ocean views from the mountain tops of the whole Monterey Bay.
