The Vineyards were a developement done in the early 80's if I recall. We thought they were going to be a problem to sell at the foot of the hill on the freeway. These Spanish style homes were received well as they had features that were not commonly found in Santa Cruz County. They have several models, the Merlot, the Cabernet, the Bordoux, and Zinfandel. These homes ranges from about 3 bedroom 2 bath 1900 square feet single level homes to 5 bedroom homes of about 2788 square feet.
These stucco homes are nicely kept up and there are association dues for the front yards maintenance. The streets are wide and there is a pride of ownership. Close by are 2 features that popular. Within a short walk is Siltanen Park, and the highly acclaimed Vine Hill Elementary is within easy walking distance. The commute location is good and shopping is close by as well. A nice place to live and call home.These homes are usually in the $700.000-1 million dollar range.
