200 West Cliff Drive Santa Cruz Beach Townhomes

200 West Cliff Villas was completed around 1989 on a large vacant lot across from the Dream Inn. There are restrictions, but they are allowing short term rentals. If that is your primary reason for owning a unit, check to see if that is still the case. Some of these units face the street and are accessed that way. The complex is gated and has an entry gate on Bay and also on Cowell Street.

These townhomes are in a great location for vacations and have 1 to 3 bedroom units. Most of them are described as 2 bedroom units with a bonus room that is often used as a family/bedroom on the top level. They range from around 750 square feet to 2200 square feet. 

It is an easy walk to the boardwalk, a 1/4 mile walk to Steamer's lane for experienced surfers and an even shorter walk to Cowells for beginning surfers. There is a pool and hot tub for you to enjoy when you are finished surfing or swimming in the ocean. These units have 10-foot ceilings and are light and bright. The units fronting on West Cliff may still have some ocean views. The complex is gated and has secured parking. There are 36 units in this development and most units have a 1 or 2 car garage, which is quite nice. These units are townhouse style but condominium ownership, in a Cape Cod style with whitewashed shingles..
