Twin Lakes Beach Cottages and Homes

The Twin Lakes region is one of mostly beach cottages and home and was developled primarily starting in the 1920's. The region has it's name as Wood's Lagoon and Schwan Lagoon were twin lakes. The Wood's Lagoon was dredged out and made into the Santa Cruz Yacht Habor. The primary area of development was between 7th avenue and Schwan Lagoon, below the train tracks. The other side of the lagoon has lovely ocean view Twin Lakes homes that are on 12-15th avenues bounded by East Cliff Drive. These ocean view homes in Twin Lakes will start around 2 million as of 2016. The cottages are mostly on 8th-11th avenues are often just under 1 million. Easy walk to the beach or the yacht harbor from this neighborhood.
