The communities in it are Boulder Creek at the top followed by Brookdale, Ben Lomond, Felton, Lompico/Zayante and Mt Hermon. Hwy 9 is the main road up the valley. At the top one can go over Hwy 9 into Saratoga or commute to Silicon Valley on Bear Creek road.Mt Hermon is searched under the Felton heading if one were specifically looking for that community.
