At the time the community was built in the 1980s it was out in an undeveloped area and has since become a desirable location in the heart of Santa Cruz. Westmont Place

Westmont Place is a neighborhood developed with the focus of providing homes for students and faculty that go to and work at the University of California Santa Cruz. It is a nice neighborhood of townhome-style properties within four-plex buildings units including two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Tosca Terrace is another neighborhood located close to the University of California Santa Cruz it is located just past Western Drive on the upper West side. It is located right next to the prestigious Moore Creek Estates neighborhood. This neighborhood is made up of townhome/condo-style homes offering two and three bedrooms. It is within walking distance to the school and the Arboretum as well as many hiking trails in the area. It is also conveniently located along public transportation bus lines.
