Woods Cove Gated Luxury Neighborhood in Santa Cruz

The Woods Cove neighborhood development off Graham Hill Road was formerly Henry Cowell's land, as was all of UCSanta Cruz. It is a prime piece of real estate that abuts the San Lorenzo river at the bottom. It is located next to the horse show grounds on Graham Hill Road. This development was long in the making and came out of the ground in 2003 by Standard Pacific development. It features 60 high-end luxury homes in Santa Cruz on larger lots, towering redwoods and pretty settings. Nearby, in easy walking distance, is Henry Cowell park, a place where one can hike and ride horses. While you are not allowed to own horses here, Santa Cruz Horsemans Center next door adds a nice touch as the development has a decided upscale feeing.Woods Cove is a very nice high end neighborhood with a quiet settiing, loads of natural beauty and a great location in between Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley.Pasatiempo is very close by.

These developer built Woods Cove homes are Mc Mansions with nice features, though many of the lots were sold to private builders and owners. This gives a bit more variety of styles and color and texture, which is refreshing. The flavor of many of these homes are a modern California Spanish style. Most of these houses are on nearly half acre lots, with some approximately an acre. This development offers some of the largest subdivision homes in the area with many being 4 bedrooms and an office. The smaller ones being offered by the developer range from 3900 square feet to 5200 per the plans from Standard Pacific. Prices generally range from 1.5 M-2M as of 2014. Located off Graham Hill Road, it is approximately a 10 minute drive to Santa Cruz or Scotts Valley
