Skyline Crest townhomes in Monterey are probably the nicest of the condominiums and townhomes in Monterey located in Skyline Forest or Pebble Beach. They compare in size and generally have nicer amenities and design aesthetic than those at Shepard's Knoll or Ocean Forest, which are located a short distance away geographically.
Skline Crest Townhomes are a Planned Unit Development ( PUD) and have 60 units. There is a pool in the center for the residents. These units were built in 1968 and are well maintained. The units are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and range in size from around 2000 square feet to about 2500 square feet. These units often have the master bedroom on the top level and two bedrooms downstairs. There are 2 car garages, which are a very nice feature not found on most condominiums in Monterey. The style is one that's not so common around here being a split level of a contemporary nature. They have a fireplace in the living room, a separate laundry room,and some have some additional storage areas that people find useful. As of 2019 the HOA fee was $675 per month and generally covered landscaping,garbage,painting, roof, reserves,common area insurance,pool, etc..
